Latest Technology Trends That Will Impact Businesses in 2020
Give breath of fresh air to your business by embracing these latest technology trends.
Are you aligned with the frantic adoption rate of new digital technologies?
Does your business have a strong foundation for SMAC (social, mobile, analytics, and cloud) to incorporate the latest tech trends that’ll drive the post-digital wave?
Do you have a digitally mature workforce to offer customized products and services that adapt to the constantly changing realities?
Well, these are the crucial questions that businesses will need to ask themselves before assimilating the upcoming technologies of 2020.
In the post-digital world, along with digital realities, related products and services will be hyper-personalized. And to decipher that, we will require a technology vision that meets the requirements of constantly changing on-demand experiences.
Autonomous Driving.
We all have heard about companies like Tesla, Alphabet, and Waymo, and the one thing that is common among them is their aim, which is to craft impeccable autonomous vehicles. The idea of a driverless car in itself generates a considerable amount of excitement.
Tesla chief Elon Musk already has the future design of autonomous vehicles and aims to go big in this industry.
During an interview, Elon has stated,
“From our standpoint, if you fast forward a year, maybe a year and three months, but next year for sure, we’ll have over a million Robo-taxis on the road.”
Functions like automated braking, lane-changing, and automation of other in-car systems are on its way to being streamlined with the guidance of data capture and analytics.
When the mysterious client got in touch with the Goodwood-based luxury marque, the two parties did not establish the vehicle’s price tag beforehand: “There was a dream, not a fixed price.” Throughout the entire build process, the wealthy owner collaborated with Rolls about every single detail concerning the unique creation and he knew what the price would be for each customization. In the end, “the dream came true — and that costs a bit of money.” How much? We’ll probably never know.
Developed over the course of four years, the Sweptail is likely a sign of things to come as Rolls-Royce is already analyzing the prospects of doing more special “1 of 1” projects. While the company’s director of design, Giles Taylor, says it’s unlikely a client will ever be this involved in the development process, he is keen on the idea of developing more coach-built cars. He went on to specify Rolls could build a one-off vehicle and then sell it to a client willing to pay what would be a hefty price tag.
The company’s newly developed platform debuting later this year on the Phantom VIII has what it takes from a technical point of view to pave the way for more special cars. That being said, Müller-Otvös pointed out coach build projects won’t become the norm for Rolls-Royce as these will have to be “truly unique and exclusive,” which is why we won’t be seeing cars such as the Sweptail on a regular basis.
2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Spied Showing Taillights At Intersection
On a day where Ford Bronco leaks were popping up left and right, it’s easy to forget there’s a new Jeep Grand Cherokee in the works. Its arrival isn’t as immediate as that of the Bronco, which Ford has already confirmed is less than a month away. The new Grand Cherokee’s unveiling will probably happen later this year, but there’s still much we don’t know about the upcoming SUV. We haven’t seen many spy shots thus far, but thanks to Motor1.com reader Chris Townsend, we now have one more to check out.
Townsend happened upon the backside of this heavily camouflaged prototype while on the road in California. In an email to Motor1.com, he explained that he caught the test vehicle on the road just before it turned into a Jeep dealership. We only have this single image, but it does give us a good look at the rear of the SUV, including a decent peek of the tail lights behind the camo.
